Mr. Kinsman is the senior associate of Jerry Kinsman & Associates in Placitas, NM. From 1985 through 2009 he worked in tribal economic development at Pueblo of Santa Ana where he formed and administered several Tribal agricultural business and natural resource enterprises. He was responsible for the Tribe’s external agricultural funding efforts involving planning; developing; and successfully securing federal and private foundation grants and contracts.

In addition to filling professional positions,  Mr. Kinsman  has served as a consultant to the US Agency for International Development (USAID), Pan-American Health Organization (PAHO), Organization of American States (OAS), Inter-American Foundation, and International Bank of Reconstruction and Development (World Bank) in a number of countries including Guatemala, Honduras, Colombia, Chile, Bolivia, Dominican Republic, Trinidad & Tobago, Nigeria, and Mexico.

His career in social and economic development began as Volunteer with the U.S. Peace Corps, in Ayacucho, Peru; then Director of Camp Radley in the Peace Corps Training Center in Arecibo, Puerto Rico; and Associate Peace Corps Director in charge of Peru’s three southernmost states. Returning to the U.S., he held administrative positions with Westinghouse Learning Corporation, Bladensburg, MD; The Institute for Behavioral Research, Silver Spring, MD; and was on the faculty of the School of Architecture and Planning and a Fellow of the Health in Housing Center, State University of New York at Buffalo. He served in the U.S. Army before becoming a graduate of Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, IL.
